Lovorda is an online recruitment platform with a transparent and verifiable peer-to-peer referral-system on which Professionals who want to ensure they don't miss out on new career opportunities - whether they are candidates for employment, actively pursuing new career opportunities, or simply exploring them - can choose to make themselves visible for potential employers that use the platform in search for suitable candidates for recruitment.

If You are Professional who want to ensure You don't miss out on new career opportunities, You may join Lovorda by adhering to Our Terms of Use and accepting Our Privacy Commitment, through this Tick-the-box Agreement.

For professionals, the Service is free.

1. Your Lovorda Account

To get started with the Service, You must first verify Your identity using digital authentication methods. This is required to create an account and ensure that all actions on the account, such as submitting Recommendations or creating Your Profile, are actually performed by You. The use of digital authentication methods helps protect Your account from unauthorized use and ensures that all transactions are secure.

Whether You represent an Employer or Yourself. You will only have one Lovorda Account. By choosing either the Professional or Employer Profile You can use the Platform according to Your intentions. When You represent an Employer, the Employer will need to adhere toa different Tick-the-box Agreement, Lovorda for Employers General Terms & Conditions and Lovorda Employer Data Sharing Agreement.

2. The Service

Once You have created Your account, You can create Your profile and become visible on the Platform to Employers who are searching for candidates like You.

When your profile becomes visible, potential Employers can contact you through the 1-to-1 chat to discuss job opportunities, ask questions, and share relevant details. It is up to You if You want to respond.

This is an easy way to connect with potential Employers and ensure You don't miss out on exciting career opportunities.

In order to create what we believe is the best way to enable successful matchmaking, the Platform offers a peer-to-peer referral system for genuine and specific recommendations, referrals, and references by others that have a true experience of having worked or collaborated in some way with You. In Our system, all recommendations are transparent and visible to both Employers and the recommended Candidates. This helps to create a credible and reliable system where evaluations and judgments are open to all parties involved.

To make this possible, You will be able to:
(1) recommend, refer, and act as a reference for others; or
(2) be recommended or referred for a specific position, Employer, or sector.

You will be awarded a Referral bonus for a successful hire of a Referral based on Your recommendation or referral in accordance with the rules defined in the Terms and Conditions for Recommendations, referrals and references. In cases where multiple Recommenders contribute to a successful Referral, the Referral Bonus is awarded to the eligible Recommender who first made the recommendation or referral.

Recommendations and referrals become part of Your profile and visible for Employers who are searching for candidates like You, and matched directly against the Employers’ desired candidate profiles.

Lovorda reserves the right to verify the validity of the statements submitted by You and Recommenders for the purpose of maintaining the integrity of the Service.

You can also choose to join Lovorda solely to give recommendations and referrals. The choice is Yours.

3. Terms and Conditions for Recommendations, referrals and references

3.1. Eligibility

Recommenders who have adhered to Our Terms of Use through this Tick-the-box Agreement become eligible to for Referral Bonuses.

You will be awarded a Referral bonus for a successful hire of a Referral based on Your recommendation. In cases where multiple Recommenders contribute to a successful referral, the Referral Bonus is awarded to the eligible Recommender who first made the recommendation.

3.2. The Referral bonus

The Referral Bonus for a single successful hire of a Referral based on Your input is at present:[20,000 SEK]
The Referral Bonus is always inclusive of all applicable taxes and charges connected to the Referral Bonus.

3.3. Use that Violate Our Terms and Conditions for Recommendations, referrals and references

You are strictly prohibited from seeking or accepting compensation directly from Employers for any recommendations provided. Should You receive compensation directly from an Employer, whether solicited or unsolicited, You are required to reimburse Lovorda for the full amount of such payments. Furthermore, Lovorda reserves the right to reclaim any future Referral Bonuses from You if You are found in violation of this agreement.
We make sure that this policy is enforced to maintain the integrity and ethical standards of Our Platform.

3.4. Taxes and social charges associated with the Referral bonus

Any taxes, social charges or other charges associated with the compensation are included in the compensation. Lovorda reserves the right to withhold any taxes, social charges or other charges associated with the compensation if Lovorda has reasons to believe that such liability may be applicable. Such withheld taxes, social charges or other charges associated with the compensation will be paid out as soon as Lovorda has procured assurance from relevant authority that no such liability remains.

3.5. No employment relationship

This agreement between You and Lovorda does not create an employment relationship. It is hereby understood and agreed that this agreement does not constitute and shall not be construed as creating an employment relationship between You and Lovorda. By entering into this agreement, You expressly waive any rights, claims, or entitlements under labor law to seek or assert an employment relationship with Lovorda based upon, arising out of, or related to any recommendation provided by You for which a Referral bonus has been paid by Lovorda.

4. Our only requirement for Your use of our Service

Transparency;
Ethical conduct; and
Adherence to these Our Terms of Use
The development and maintenance of our Service and the payment of Referral bonuses require money and a hard commitment from many people who are doing their utmost to offer this Service. Since we provide the Service to You completely free of charge, it must be financed in another way. We believe that You should not have to pay; instead, we have decided that the Employers should finance the development and maintenance of the Service and the Referral bonus, by paying for a successful recruitment. To make it possible to keep offering You the Service for free, we therefore need to know how Your processes with the Employers are progressing. The Referral bonus to Your Recommender is dependent on You providing us this information. You will be prompted to provide us updates from time to time which we require that You answer to be able to keep using the Service.

5. Use that Violate Our Terms of Use

Your adherence to our Terms of Use: At Lovorda, we take seriously the fair and correct use of our Service. Therefore, You must provide accurate information about Yourself and follow the rules we have set up. If You do not follow these rules, we may unfortunately need to deactivate Your account and block You from our Platform. In such cases, we may also shut down Your account with immediate effect.

We understand that this can be inconvenient, but these measures are necessary to ensure fair treatment and respect of all our users.

We ask You to ensure that no unauthorized person gains access to Your account. We are here to help if You have any questions or need support in understanding our terms. We value Your trust and want to continue to offer good service to You.

Ethical conduct: Lovorda does not stand for and will not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or unethical behavior on our Platform. We are committed to maintaining a professional and respectful environment for all users. Any actions that violate these principles will be addressed promptly and may result in appropriate measures, including but not limited to suspension or termination of user accounts. If You encounter or witness any behavior that goes against these values, we encourage you to report it immediately so that we can take the necessary steps to ensure the integrity and safety of our community.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights associated with the Lovorda platform, including trademarks, logos, texts, images, and software, belong to us or those who have given us a license to use them such as Employers and Candidates. We ask You to respect these rights. If You want to use any of these materials, please contact us for permission. We appreciate Your interest and are more than happy to discuss how You can use our materials in a way that respects our rights. Thank You for helping us protect our creative property.

7. Changes to Our Service

At Lovorda, we always strive to improve and adapt our platform and its services to better meet Your needs. This means that we may sometimes need to make changes to how our Services operates, or in some cases even discontinue parts of them. We want You to know that such decisions are never taken lightly. We reserve the right to make these adjustments as needed, to ensure the best possible experience for all users.

This means that as a platform, we have a responsibility to ensure that You as a user are well aware of any changes that may affect how You use the service. We must give You enough time to review the changed terms so that You can decide if You want to continue using the Service under the new conditions.

When we plan to make changes to our terms, we will send a notification to You via email or directly through our app. This notification will contain information about the specific changes that have been made and when these will take effect (You will always have a minimum of 15 days). We strive to always be transparent and clear in our communication so that You can make informed decisions.

8. In Case of Complaints

Everyone has the right to expect good service and to get help if something has gone wrong.
If something has not worked as it should, we would like You to contact our Customer Support. We would like to resolve any problems or misunderstandings that have arisen, and we can also take Your feedback further.

If You are still dissatisfied with the response You received from us regarding Your complaint, You can follow the step below for an impartial examination of Your complaint.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution which You can find athttps://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. This platform is designed to help You resolve any disputes that may arise from online purchases of goods and services in a simple and fair manner, without having to take the matter to court.

Swedish law applies to the Service.
